Excavator Stick Extension

If your excavator has a short arm that fails to reach some vital places or things, then your project needs a long excavator stick extension. Choosing the most efficient option requires help from expert construction contractors. Ransome Equipment is a 100 year old family tradition business in construction equipment where we manufacture, locate and source the attachments our customers need at the best value.

Here are the benefits you'll reap in working with us for your excavator stick extension project:

  • Custom design the stick extension to meet your specific application.
  • Improve excavator reach in hard-to-access locations within the construction site.
  • Manufactured to handle 30,000 to 500,000 lb. class excavators.
  • Easily add up to 26 - 80 feet of reach relative to your machine capacity.
  • Gain extra reach for your current excavator, gaining more value and versatility.

Answers to frequently asked excavator stick extension questions:

Q: What is a stick on an excavator?

A: When your excavator's attached arm is too short to reach areas at an extended location you will need an extension. Excavator stick extensions can be a crucial construction equipment accessory to extend to those hard-to-reach places during a project. Along with the many benefits we’ve listed above, using these extensions also saves time and reduces the costs of your projects. These stick extensions are installed to the boom of excavators to get to things or locations the short stick attachments just cannot reach.

Q: How do you measure an excavator stick?

A: First start with measuring the width of the stick at the spot where the bucket will be pinned to the stick. Determine the working length of the stick by measuring from one of the pin holes used to connect the bucket to the stick to the center of one of the pin holes used to connect the boom to the stick.

Q: Do you have excavator stick rentals?

A: We are not currently renting them, but we can help you resell your excavator stick when finished with your project.
